VCE -- What is it?
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the certificate given at the completion of secondary education in Victoria , Australia . The certificate lists all subjects studied at Years 11 and 12 and the results. It is administered by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) on behalf of the State government of Victoria . Over 70,000 students try for the VCE each year.
Schools have to be registered by the VCAA to offer the VCE. They also have to be registered to be examination centres.
There are a wide variety of subjects available for study.
