Results
Our results in 2006 were typically good.
For our local students, half gained ENTER scores above 80
(in the top 20% of the State) and a quarter gained above
95. Courses such as Pharmacy, Commerce, Aerospace
Engineering, Oral Health and Nursing were successfully
pursued. Our overseas' students did not score quite as well
as the local students but nonetheless all gained tertiary
places and are continuing their studies in Australia.
This built on our fine results the
previous year when over one third of our students gained an
ENTER over 90 (placing them in the top 10% of the State).
Students gained quality places at Melbourne , Monash, RMIT
and Swinburne Universities in courses such as Engineering,
Architecture, Information Technology, Medicine and Business.
Also, because of our adult,
university-style philosophy, we expect all students to find
the move to tertiary study smooth and familiar. They will
not suffer the relatively high drop-out rates generally
experienced by students from independent schools.
We congratulate them all and wish them
well.
